Hi Nina We have a few alpacas that mouth foam, otherwise healthy. I always think, oh, oh, they must have a tummy ache and will give Probios, but I'm not sure that it helps. I just figure it can't hurt. I wonder also, what causes it.

Tell us more about yourself!
We both have masters degrees in business administration. That is how we met. After many years of Bill in the corporate world and mine in residential and commercial real estate, we decided to try a different lifestyle. A remarkable spiritual change has come over our new life. These gentle, curious, gorgeous animals, who give us these cutie pie crias and the exquisite fleeces that allow us to make valuable products, have just made all the sacrifices worth every precious moment. A decade ago, we didn't even know what an alpaca was, except for an expensive sweater!! I would recommend having these beautiful animals to anyone!

dear Donna,
when we talked on the phone with others, you might recall Evelyn Brumwell and Peter Harrison of YBNormal Farms in upstate NY. Evelyn let me know that she found Peter dead at the computer desk last week at 4:30 in the morning. They won the top small farm alpaca breeders awards at the Futurity and win about every show...blue ribbons galore. They were not married, and the farm is in Peter's name...with 60 some alpacas in Frewburg, NY... Peter probably committed suicide... booze + oxy, very depressed in the wintry, snowy cold of NW NY. Pete was a good guy...really enjoyed him, but no alpaca sales and lots of snow sure is depressing. He tried to make things work and was really counting on our tv efforts. Extremely sorry for Evelyn...

C'mon you two, this needs your input, join in, share some good views on cnn.com The producers are working with me on alpaca stories...so please check in, rate our stories with five stars, create a screen name, use your email address and add terrific comments about us and about your alpacas. We have a huge audience and it is going to grow over the entire month, according to the producers who want me to submit a lot on behalf of alpacas. Please add to it.
Have the best new year! (Don't forget to rate the stories with FIVE STARS...VERY IMPORTANT)

Good morning!
It has been a while. I just went to my last show of the season in Springfield with my 4H group and now get to enjoy preparing for Christamas. Life has been moving full tilt for me. I'll tell Donna hi for you next time I see her. Hope it's warm down there. It's frigid up here.
Happy Holidays!

Well, from Lorraine's cancer and then her getting clobbered by a drunk uninsured truck driver which crushed her car and snapped her wrist off, then her hospital firing her since she can't work yet...it has indeed been rough. I went to Texas to work and still am working on those devastated properties, have not had time nor money for the videos, but expect toget the editing equipment when I finish the insurance claims. We are having some babies right now and our two year olds will be marching in holiday parades starting next week. There, how's that? When the smoke clears a little later, I will be putting the film and tv shows together again. Good tohear from ya.

Welcome to the social...evidently. Somewhere between Heaven Whispers and Alpaca Angels must be some additonal great places, eh? We are starting to prepare our performance alpacas again...for parades and concerts. I have been in Texas helping out hurricane IKE victims recover and I still have a lot of work to do for them yet, then I will concentrate on the alpacas again.
Hope Thanksgiving was worthwhile.
Chuck & Lorraine.,
