Tell us more about yourself!
We are Mike and Lindsay Butkiewicus, living and working at Wild Thyme Farm! We raise huacaya alpacas in a happy and healthy environment. Our goal is to improve on each generation by breeding selectively for specific traits. Right now our concentration is on full Bolivian genetics and fine fiber but we are also dabbling with a smaller sized alpaca (mini's) to see if there is a niche market there. Our breeding focus is constantly evolving! We also board several different farms' alpacas here, who make their home away from home at Wild Thyme. We are also on Alpaca Nation at http://www.alpacanation.com/wildthymefarm.asp
Hope to catch up with everyone here soon!

I also wanted to mention...I like your farm name. It's a clever play on words as is my farm name: Best 'Dam' Alpaca Ranch :-)

Hi,

I've never heard of "mini" alpacas before. Is there anyone out there you currently raises them?
