I used to use the hernia belts or push it in once or twice a day. I've never messed with an ear. The ears all came out fine, and now that I leave the hernias alone I get the same results as I did when I messed with them. They all go away on their own

I had a girl with a good size hernia and used one of the belts from Useful Llama and in a couple of weeks it was gone and I did not have to adjust the belt at all except for growth.

Thanks to all of you for your good advice. I just love this site, it's full of such friendly people. They picked the tape off the ear and it's pretty good, just a little flat on the tip. I didn't tell you guys that I was calling him Tump because his…

I had one in Oct that was 3 weeks early that had the ear and the hernia. I left the ear alone it fixed itself, the hernia I pushed up a couple times a day, it is fine now. Good luck with your new baby!

Pat, LOL at your sizes with fruit! I usually say the size of a dime, quarter maybe, lololol ;) Try the belt but heads up, those little ones run and jump so much the belt can move so when we did the belt, I had to re-adjust it about twice a day and…

this one is about the size of a key lime or cumquat. is that considered small? I might belt him for a couple weeks and see what that does. He also had an inside out ear that I have taped. he's going to start looking like a mummy. thanks for the advi…

we "play" with small hernias. Twice a day massage and push back up into the small hole. Within a couple of weeks usually does the trick. We have also bought the hernia belt for a 4 month old that had a larger one and within 4 weeks it was cleared up…

I had a cria born Nov 16th and he is doing great but has developed a hernia at his cord. The cord dried up fine so I don't think there's any infection. What is the general course of action here? Do you wrap it or let it go? I'm going to call a vet f…

I started with 2 bred females and unfortunatly lost both of them the first year-to year and a half. I have fiber boys that I shear myself and love processing the fiber. I like to felt and make a variety of items. I recently got back into the breeding part with three females and have two cria due this winter.

Fall is a great time of the year

Well, it's time for the fall festivals and open houses to start. I went to a wool festival at a really cool farm a week ago and had a good time. My friend, kathy Withers, has mostly angora goats and sheep, but is getting more alpacas. Best seller was my felted hand made soaps!! I am having my Open House this weekend, so if you are in the neighborhood, stop in. 17001 W Hopi Dr, Casa Grande, Az 85222.

National Alpaca Days and the end of summer

This weekend I was open for visitors for National Alpaca Days and had a few interested people come out. As it is still
100 degrees out here ( Casa Grande, Az) it was too hot to stand out with the alpacas for too long at a time.
Now it's time to rush to get things done for the fall festivals and open farm days that I will be attending and hosting
from now until Christmas. Fall is an exciting time for us here, it's cria time, too. I love this time of year.
take care
