I am trying to learn about everything at once~the animal care, fiber, washing, carding, spinning, weaving, etc.
The best thing so far is that I have met many wonderful people every step of the way!

Hi Pam,
Thank you! That lush green pasture is nice in the springtime around here. Winter and rain don't work very well for pretty pictures.
Cove is in Eastern Oregon?, Funny, I pictured it being on the coast. One of our favorite places is up there, the Wallowas.
Will look forward to your pictures.
Pollly, Thanks for the inspiration! Focus is something I need--I have been sidetracked by gardening, canning, drying fruit, etc. I love it all, but realize it would be better to master at least one thing a year and put off any more NEW endeavors for a couple of years.
Welcome! Where abouts is Cove? We're located in Philomath, Oregon.
The fun in this is all of the learning we get to do with our alpacas and best of all the wonderful friends we make along the way.
I focaused on one thing a year.
!st year caring for the animals.
2nd year on the shows and the community around me to visit their farms to absorb like a sponge.
3rd year the fiber process.
This is my fourth year and I am selling products and hand spinning while my website is built.
Progress happens but focusing is the best thing for me as a small farm.
