My husband Ed and I are now retired and raise huacaya alpacas on 17 acres in Waynesboro, TN. We have 3 males and 4 females with our latest cria born August 19, 2008. Because we're small, we're able to give each alpaca individual attention. I'm learning to spin the fleece and want to learn to weave, also. Ed will be shearing our alpacas next year and will help local farms with their shearing.

Hello from another alpaca farm in Tennessee!!! Many years ago when I road horses we went to Waynesboro to a trail ride there. Your bio said you had been in the business for four years. Have we met before at any of the SeAA meetings? I love your barn and fencing. Jannette Cox Alpacas of the Smokies
Sierra I love that name! I was going to name my 3rd child that but I got a Nick and Mike instead! For cria names my favorite is Penney's from Heaven named after my son who passed and sends me pennies from heaven! A Johnny Rebel after my boyfriend who passed, John was a rebel with no case, that's what his ex used to say. I hope I don't feel I have to honor any one and can make up some new names.
That is a vey nice barn...
