As far as honoring a contract that is a very simple thing to establish who is right and who is wrong. When it comes to care and treatment of animals that can vary widly due to location. Some areas have health risks that others do not. I have read ab…
I am happy to be the owner of (or owned by) 17 alpacas. I enjoy being with them and watching them. I knit, crochet, and spin. I am learning to weave and am interested in everything alpaca.
Hi Melanie how's Pistaccios' girl doing? I think I have 6 of his offspring here now. Time for new genetics! I've been pretty happy with the offspring but as I learn more I better know what direction I want to go in. Pistaccio did not put me behind either...he was a great starter sire! How is the economy hitting you? every one still working? Herd growing? A couple of my friends are not breeding now waiting to see what happens I guess!

Hi Melanie! Thank you fro accepting my friend request! Hope I get to know you better! I love your pics of your alpacas! :) What a head on that brown one!
Cindy told me about you, and I thought "this should be confusing!" I am trying to remember where Elk City is. I spent my junior high days in Duncan--it's where I got my whole 4H/FFA/raising livestock start.
Well Melanie I thought Pistaccio might put out pintos after seeing your last one...I got a real pretty Lt-med fawn and white pinto male today I think every thing is good although the placenta doesn't look good. Need to find a Vet. Their is a new one in town and I'm trying to get that number. I don't really care for the one I've been using. I figure I have a couple of minutes.
Hi Melanie. I didn't know you were so close to us. We are only about 4 1/2 hours away from each other. We take our RV for weekend trips to Clinton KOA all of the time. We are holding a Grand Opening on September 6th and would love to invite you down for a visit if possible.
Hi everyone! I'm happy to join alpacasocial. Thank you Cindy for tuning me in. Yes that is one of pistachio's crias. One of two that own. The other is true black with incredibly soft fiber, nearly one year old. She was orphaned at birth so she was bottle fed and is super friendly. I just love her.
Hi Melanie isn't that a HPA Pistaccio girl in that picture? Gee what an outstanding girl!!! I have 4 cria of his coming this winter can't wait to see what I get. lol lol
Welcome Melanie glad to see come on board!
