It would have been great to meet Connie, too. She was so helpful to me when I first took on the EXPO!! That is great news about your show!! I am really concerned about ours in February. With the cost of gas, the economy and we have alot of Exhibitors that come from VERY far away--we had 500 alpaca last year--I'm thinking we won't have nearly that amount next year. I will keep good thoughts about your show and hate that I am missing it!!

I am tweaking - I just saw that FABA has an Event the same weekend as our show - I just told Connie Alexander this past weekend that you were planning on coming to the show this year and she is so looking forward to meeting you in person. Darn; I don't suppose that you are going to sneak out of Florida that weekend? I was hoping to have you meet us in Lexington on Thursday night so we'd have time before the show started... It's looking like it will be a good one. Registration only open now for 11 days and we've almost filled two barns and have well over 275 alpacas. We've got until 9/25 before we close registration...

We love the Southwest and the Native American Culture and I think the designers hit the nail right on the head!

Did you ever do anything with that roving you had? I finally started doing some locker hooking and it goes really quick and makes a nice project. You could probably make a very nice pillow for yourself out of it. It's very easy to do but looks like it must be hard. I love crafts like that! :-)
