The Ranch is here in Loveland, Colorado. Right off I-25. They call it the Fall Fest. It's a nice alpaca show to go to in the fall, it's getting bigger every year too. I'll have to keep an eye out for you at the shows Elaine. Your way down there in the south. It's been many years since I've been in that area. My husband was at Estes Park, I didn't get to go because of work
:( I'm hoping next year I can. Maybe next year will be both of our first times showing animals at the shows. Talk to you later, Dena
I love CO, FL is good in the winter but way to humid and hot in the summer. Westcliff is in southern CO in the Wet mountains and my front view is the Sangre de Christo mountains. It is about an hour south of Canyon City. I have been to a couple of shows but I would like to start showing a cria next year but I have to get more info on it. I have been to Estes Park and the Denver show last year. What is the Ranch? I still have so much to learn.
It's nice to meet you Elaine! Thanks for the compliment. How do you like Colorado compared to Florida? Allot drier I bet. I'm not sure where Westcliffe is? Is it in south Colorado? We both started in the same year. We too started in 2006 and we still love raising our alpacas. We are still waiting for one cria to be born and then we are going to start breeding our females again for next year. Do you go to any of the shows? We like to go but we haven't brought any of our animals yet. We have allot of fun at the shows when we can go. I want to go to the Ranch in November for the fall fest. I like Colorado for that, we have good shows, a great veternarian team with CSU and the other vets, and allot of other stuff we need for alpacas. Talk to you later, Dena
