I am in the alpaca business just over a year. Being on Long Island, I am trying desperately to figure out the best way to move forward. Being an avid knitter, the fiber was what drew me to the animals. Now, I am fully invested in making a go of alpa…

We are an alliance of fiber growers with the common goal of creating a fiber market. Instead of collecting fiber and then developing the market, we are developing the market first. We plan on buying your fiber at fair market prices or slightly above.

Hi Dinese, is really nice to ear from you. I'm living in Texas, but looking forward to move back to the Northwest Area. I saw Vicente's Pictures in your Website, he looks really good, try to keep him in good shape (body score of 3 out of 5).
Let me know if you need any advice. :)

DearDenise, I really want to start a big herd that will be used as a demonstration herd here in my country. However, I am still looking for a strategic partner from your country or elsewhere who can guide me through this process and be supportive to each other. There are hardly any alpaca farmers here. The herd will be the first of its kind here.

Best regards

I will check out the problem with the website and in the meantime email you directly a copy of the price list or you can give us a call 970-464-4862 and Mike can answer any other questions you might have. If you would like me to send samples of our work, I will be glad to do that as well.

Hi Denise,
As of January 1 2009 we will be taking fiber to process. We have a 5lb minimum run per order and can do batts, bumps, rovings, and yarn in several different weights. We have a website for our farm but I am in the process of updating information and pricing for the mill services. What services are you needing? We are putting together a processing schedule for the beginning of the year.

Hi Denise,
Thank you for the compliment on the photo.
It placed first in the AOBA photo contest last year and I was estatic! It was one of those lucky right time and right place picture moments.
I like your huacaya with the clouds over his/her head. It looks like he or she is commanding the weather.

Thanks, Denise. The one with the 'cufflinks' is our newborn, 'Flash'. He is 6 days old!
