- I've been raising alpacas for 10 years and slowly grown my herd to over 20 alpacas. I was the Editor of the MAPACA Newsletter for over 8 years. The newsletter, at that time, was published every month and I never missed an issue. It was a labor of love for all those years. MAPACA has chosen to move on, and I have been retired, but my love of writing and my love for alpacas continues.
