I am understanding that AD&E might be helpful to crooked legs? Does any one have experience with this? And then do you like paste or shots? How much do you give...I'll look at the tube or bottle but just incase but do you do something different?

Hi Cindy,
We use the paste her on our farm. Less shots the better for me... I give 5cc to the cria every 2 weeks in the winter.
the preggo moms too ....they get 10cc...
I also give the paste to any animal who is doing poorly as a boost ...

Same here Cindy, paste for us as well and it really does help. Also, cutting back on the higher protein can help too. We bulk our moms up with alfalfa and or peanut hay last trimester and the crias get it too and sometimes it is too much and can cause the leg issues. Back off the higher protein and you may also se a difference!

They also say it is good for the fleece and I know a few folks that give it once a month to the entire herd or at least the ones they plan to show.

Interesting! That makes sense.
We give the oral paste every 2 weeks to the crias until weaned and eating grain, our vet recommends it over the injections
