If so, where can I get it?

Or, can you just open an acidophilus capsule and put in the feed? How many would you need?

thanks,

Heidi

Hi,
I use Fastrack Microbials and I am a distributor. We supplement the Fastrack to all our animals, dairy cows, horses, dog and now alpacas.
When using anitibotics they need probiotics so that they keep good bacteria in their gut. We also have Ruminant Gel if you don't want to add to feed, or if you don't feed any kind of pellets. You can use Probios brand, but by dosage it is higher than Fastrack gels. Also, Probios sets on the shelf in your local feed store, so any of the live microibals are dead. Fastrack Gels are kept refrigerated which keeps all the micoribials, enzymes and vitamins fresh and viable.
You can purchase on my website: Fastrack Microbials or if you want to save 30% to 40% off retail, let me know.
We have been using the Fastrack products for 7.5 yrs now.
I have saved 3 horses from colic with the Equine Gel, give to our calfs when scouring or antibiotic therapy. We give to our newborn calfs, foals and when my Alpacas have crias, the crias will also get some. All animals are born with sterile gut so the Fastrack puts good bacteria into stomach!

Hi Heidi,
Iagree with Nancy, I too have used the "Probios" from Tractor Supply. I have used the Probios that come in the tube and my alpacas seemed to take it well. I haven't tried the powder form but I'm sure it is just as good. Hope this helps you. That's one thing nice about Alpacasocial we can share information with each other. :-)
Have a blessed night!
Bonnie
